Highborne

Glossary

1 min read

The arcane aristocracy of the ancient night elf empire, whose hunger for magic invited the Legion.

The Highborne served Queen Azshara as her court and her sorcerers, drawing ever deeper on the Well of Eternity until their spells caught the eye of Sargeras. After the Sundering, most survivors were exiled and founded Quel'Thalas as the high elves. Others, the Shen'dralar, stayed hidden in Eldre'Thalas, the city now called Dire Maul.
