The Lich King's army of the undead, spread by plague and necromancy.
The Scourge are bound to the Lich King’s will: ghouls, abominations, liches and death knights raised from the fallen. The plague that created them swept Lordaeron in the Third War and left the Plaguelands behind. Under Kel'Thuzad, the Scourge still holds Stratholme and Scholomance, and its reach extends as far as Razorfen Downs in the Barrens.
