Guardian of Tirisfal

Glossary
1 min read
A mage granted the combined power of a secret council to fight the Burning Legion alone.
High elf and human magi formed the secret Council of Tirisfal to stop demons from slipping into the world through careless spellcraft. In each age the council poured its power into a single champion, the Guardian. Aegwynn carried the role for centuries; her son Medivh, the last Guardian, was secretly possessed by Sargeras and opened the way for the orcs.
