Proof of the Brood Mother's death, raised over the gates of Stormwind or Orgrimmar as a rallying banner.
Onyxia, daughter of Deathwing and younger sister of Nefarian, guards her brood in a cavern of Dustwallow Marsh while scheming to bend the mortal kingdoms of Azeroth to her will. Defeating her ended one of the black dragonflight’s longest deceptions.
In the original game, her head was carried home as a trophy: Alliance champions presented it in Stormwind, Horde champions to Thrall in Orgrimmar. Raised over the city gates, it granted the Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer to everyone in the city, and the whole capital celebrated the kill.
