Gorehowl

Gorehowl was forged generations before Grom Hellscream inherited it, and Warsong legend says the axe was tempered with the hearts of mighty gronn. Grom, chieftain of the Warsong clan, was the first to drink the blood of the pit lord Mannoroth, binding the orcs to the Burning Legion. In Ashenvale he drank again, and with Gorehowl he slew the demigod Cenarius.

Thrall freed him from the demon’s grip, and together they confronted Mannoroth. Grom split the pit lord’s weapon and killed him with a single stroke, breaking the curse on his people at the cost of his own life. Thrall kept the axe in Orgrimmar afterwards.
